If you know me just a little, you know I was born and raised in Butte County, in a small town called Oroville. Paradise CA is also located in Butte County and is about 20 minutes from the hospital I was born. The tragedy of Paradise Campfire feels personal as I still have family and friends in the area.
Like most people that viewed the television scenes of the disaster, we felt an overwhelming desire to help. But the question was how? We were discussing ways that we could be of assistance and our best idea was to develop a resource page and email it to everyone we do business with.
We’ve tried to do a thorough job of verifying each of the resources by including address and phone numbers, but PLEASE CONFIRM ALL RESOURCES BEFORE YOU PROVIDE ASSISTANCE.
There are people living in Paradise that didn’t have much and some of those people lost all that they had. During this Christmas and New Year holidays, let us all thank God for our family and friends and pray for those who lost family and friends.
May God Bless and Comfort Paradise California
